International Conference on Information Technology Bhubaneswar, India December, 21-24, 2002 |
The goal of the International Conference on Information Technology (CIT) is to provide a high quality forum for scientists and engineers to present their latest research findings on all topics in the area of information technology. Papers are solicited on, but not limited to, the following topics. The conference will bring together original results in these exciting areas.

CIT'2002 is the fifth conference on Information Technology. The earlier conferences, CIT'98, CIT'99 and CIT'2000 were held in Bhubaneswar, while CIT'2001 was held in Gopalpur-on-the-sea, Orissa. CIT'2002 will continue the excellent tradition of having active participation and collaboration between academia and IT Industries.
Proposals for Special Topics Sessions:
There will be several special sessions in some focussed areas. Interested organizers are requested to submit a 1-2 page proposal to the program chairs as soon as possible. Sessions may be either independent papers with a common theme or a set of closely related papers describing a system. For more information about the conference please contact one of the program chairs.
Paper Submissions:
Authors are requested to submit their manuscripts electronically, in PDF/PS format. The first page of the manuscript must include the names, email addresses, affiliation of the authors and an abstract of the paper followed by a few keywords identifying the subject area. The size of the manuscript must be limited to fifteen, double-spaced pages of size 8.5" x 11", in 12-point font, with an inch of margins around the text area.
Papers must be sent to either of the program chairs as an email, with the subject line CIT 2002 submission. Conference proceedings will be published and will be available during the conference.
Tutorials:
Tutorial proposals are sought in all areas of information technology, such as formal methods, verification, intelligent networks, adhoc networks, mobile applications, handheld devices, hardware/software codesign, to name just a few.
Tutorial proposals must include a brief abstract of the tutorial, intended audience, and outline of the topics to be covered. Tutorial proposals may be sent to one of the three tutorial co-chairs.

Student Session:
The purpose of this session is to stimulate student interest and participation in the conference. There will be a contest for best student paper award. Suggestions and inquiries should be sent to the student session chair. Limited financial support may be available to participating students.
